Health is crucial for kids because it affects our well-being in many different ways. Eating healthy, staying active and sleeping enough hours contributes to making us better.

Having a good mind-set is also important, so that you can think of becoming healthy in a positive way. Being healthy provides us the energy to play, study, etc… In fact, in Abaco School, most of second of ESO teens sleep between 8-10 hours, which is great because that will give them enough energy to stay active during the day.

Playing sports is one of the most popular ways to stay fit. It enhances your physical health and helps you disconnect from your problems. Although not everyone practices sports, almost 60% of teens practice football and basketball, so as you can tell, teenagers prefer playing team sports rather than individual ones.

Self-care is really important as well. Most people of second of ESO have a 7/10 stress level, and that’s not good at all. Just by playing outdoors, having break times or having a balanced diet can make you have lots of benefits! Having awareness of our mental health means we know what our bodies need! But careful with screen times, it may be something our brain often asks for but never in excess!

In conclusion, by full-filling all or most of the advice given in this article, you will step by step notice a big change! It’s not just about today, it’s a long-term thing that you can never forget!
